
On February 25–27, 2025, the conference «Carbon in Terrestrial Ecosystems: Monitoring. Results of Stage 1 of the State Assignment VIP GZ «Unified National System for Monitoring Climate-Active Substances» was held at the Center for Forest Ecology and Productivity of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Moscow. As part of the conference, the head of the laboratory, Mikhail Semenov, gave a presentation titled «The Microbiome and Organic Matter Pools as Indicators of Soil Carbon Sequestration and Stabilization», in which he presented the results of the work under the state assignment FGUR-2022-0018 «Investigation of Microbial Drivers of Organic Carbon Sequestration and Storage in Agricultural Soils» for the years 2022–2024.
