Our primary objective is to study the microbial drivers responsible for organic carbon sequestration and deposition in agroecosystems. We actively monitor soil carbon pool structures in various agricultural land use systems. Based on our findings, we aim to develop recommendations that focus on reducing carbon emission losses and enhancing carbon deposition through the implementation of agrobiotechnological methods. Additionally, we strive to attract young scientists, graduate students, and university graduates to participate in soil carbon research. We also prioritize the training of new personnel and ensuring the seamless continuation of ongoing research.
The laboratory team comprises young researchers who specialize in soil science, soil microbiology, ecology, and soil organic matter. Our main focus is on monitoring the structure of soil carbon pools in diverse agricultural land use systems. We conduct research aimed at studying the multifaceted relationships between soil carbon and the soil microbiome using modern biochemical and omics methods. Based on our findings, we develop recommendations aimed at reducing carbon emissions and increasing carbon stocks through the implementation of agro-biotechnological practices. We are committed to scientific precision and innovative solutions to support sustainable low-carbon agriculture and environmental protection.
