The employees of the Laboratory of Soil Carbon and Microbial Ecology visited a plant in the Novgorod Region that specializes in the production of granulated organic fertilizers

The employees of the Laboratory of Soil Carbon and Microbial Ecology visited the BGK-VN enterprise, a plant located in the Novgorod region that specializes in the production of granular organic fertilizers. During their visit, the employees examined various stages of composting technology and gathered compost samples for physical, chemical, and microbiological analyses. The effectiveness of the produced fertilizer will be evaluated through a long-term field experiment, which our laboratory has planned to initiate in May of this year.
